An AI-powered Healthcare Forecasting and Analysis System (HFAS) was developed for resource management and as a near real-time tracker for healthcare resource utilization like ICU beds and ventilators etc.

The daily forecasts for hospitalized and discharged cases were obtained through ensemble modeling to improve stability and predictive power of the model.

The two-model approach to forecasting helped to maximize accuracy even if the historical data was not available initially.

THE SUCCESS

The overall accuracy of forecasting for hospitalization cases ranged from 90% to 95%.

Government officials could foresee potential gaps in demand and supply to avoid outages for critical healthcare resources.

The dashboard served as a comprehensive source of information for the client for informed decision making.
