We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that align with our company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and modern infrastructure practices, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
1. Cloud Platforms: Advanced proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including experience with their core services and advanced features (e.g., serverless, machine learning).
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation for automating infrastructure deployments and configurations.
3. Containerization & Orchestration: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications in the cloud.
4. Cloud Security & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
5. Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Proficient in cloud-native monitoring and logging tools for performance tracking and optimization.
6. Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS.
7. Scripting & Automation: Advanced skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and integration tasks.
8. Database Management: Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) and database management.
9. DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, including version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including core and advanced services.
2. Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to streamline deployments and configurations.
3. Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Implement cloud-native monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations Suite) to track system performance, detect anomalies, and optimize resource usage.
4. Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
5. Networking: Design and manage cloud network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems and processes and support cross-functional projects.
7. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly, minimizing impact on business operations and ensuring high availability.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements or upgrades to existing systems and processes.
